Mom&I Magazine Announces Their New Korean Channel ----

"Hello Bergen News"

Popular Korean personality, MinJung Hong, joins as the channel's host!

Fort Lee, NJ - MPlus Creative Production & Media Corp. has created a

next-level newscast for the

Korean-American community of Bergen

County. Hello Bergen will act as a

sister-company to Mom&I whose

magazine issues have successfully

been released monthly since 1999. Its

mission has been to provide local

Korean-American families in the Metropolitan Area with news about their culture and community and Hello Bergen will be no different. Mom&I provides a safe space to uplift the voices of those in the area and give them a platform to share their combined experiences and stories, which is also a major goal of Hello Bergen. Mom&I has created a camaraderie like no other and will continue to do so alongside this upcoming newscast. After 22 years of excellence in print, Mom&I is ready to leap into the world of broadcast news, too.

MPlus Creative Production & Media Corp. will bring “Hello Bergen - Korean News” to various easily accessible platforms this coming fall. Hello Bergen will be a news channel providing the people of Bergen County with important local updates and current events. Its content will be available at the viewers’ disposal via YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and more. Newscasts will be uploaded weekly to keep viewers in-the-know. They will be largely interview-based, ranging from speaking with politicians, to small business owners, and even local artists. Hello Bergen will also cover a wide variety of topics

including health, education, current affairs, and more. Videos will be released in both English and Korean to create a diverse platform for its viewers.

Hello Bergen’s reporter will be none other than MinJung Hong — Korea’s “Golf Goddess” of SBS Golf Channel. Between her intelligence and popularity in Korea, MinJung was able to lecture in many prestigious places including: Seoul Metropolitan Police

Agency, Incheon National Police Agency, Yongin University, and Myongji Junior College. When she and her husband decided to move to New York, she was determined to continue broadcasting in whatever ways she could. Since then, MinJung has been doing a lot of freelance work, including being a radio

personality for New York Radio Korea. As a self-proclaimed “yes girl,” she is eager to continue engaging in and reporting about Korean news with Hello Bergen. MinJung knew from a young age that she wanted to work in broadcasting and has been working hard to make those dreams reality. Even more than that, she is doing it while making a difference within the Korean-American community. With her bright smile and a positive attitude, MinJung is a natural in front of the camera and just as sweet off-camera. Hello Bergen is so excited to have the chance to work with such an astounding woman. Hello Bergen is excited to have an outlet for their subscribers to enjoy content on a more regular basis. Newscasts will be available every Thursday for the weekday update. With Mom&I’s transition into broadcast media, Hello Bergen aims to supply the county with news that is both serious and fun. Hello Bergen can’t wait for their first newscast launching fall 2021.
